This summer we hope you will join us for an exciting opportunity for fellowship, faith education, and worship the whole family can enjoy. We call it Play & Praise and it happens at Advent each Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 pm, June 13 through August 15.
Play & Praise offers a VBS style education program for children 10 and under. Each week children will explore a new Bible story using crafts, games, science experiments, puppets, storytelling, and more. The program gets started each week at 6:30 pm. Sign up for the whole summer or individual weeks throughout the summer. There is no cost to attend but pre-registering helps us make sure we have enough supplies ready for you each week. You can register using the form on the right or sign up to return while your at Play & Praise.
Of course Play & Praise has something for youth and adults to enjoy too. From 6:30-7:30 pm each week we'll have snacks and yard games like Cornhole, LadderBall, Bocce Ball, and Frisbee Golf to enjoy together. It's a great way to get to know some new people and have a super time outside in God's good creation. At 7:30 we'll introduce you to the big story of the Old Testament in a creative and conversational study. Using a sand art video portrayal of the story and discussion questions designed to help you learn about the narrative story of the Old Testament and how it connects to our own individual stories you'll discover the surprising and wonderful ways that God's story becomes our story.
At 8:00 pm we'll gather everyone together for an uplifting and informal time of worship. This time of worship with singing, prayers, a simple Biblical message that relates to our daily lives, and a blessing to bring the evening to a close.
